2005 Peace Poster Contest We are happy to report that the Peace Poster submitted by Rachel Pederson was selected as the winner in Illinois. It now goes on to International for the final judging. Rachel will receive her District 1-J savings bond during our Convention in March; then, during the State Convention she will also receive a $100 savings bond from the MD-1!       Several other Bartlett Elementary School 6th Graders also participated in the Lions Club Peace Poster Contest.  Many EXCELLENT posters were submitted.  Below are a few examples:                                                                                                                                                                                              1st Place Winner!
