In College, Kati is interested in studying Deaf Education to become a math teacher for the deaf. In her leisure, Kati enjoys tutoring other hearing impaired students with their math homework. She likes to "help other deaf children and motivate them to work hard".
Kati has been a member of the Bartlett Travel Soccer Club for 9 years as well as a member of Bartlett High School Varsity Soccer Team. She plans to use this experience and knowledge to become a coach for after school activities or team sports.
Kati closes her scholarshop application by saying "I want to contiue to challenge myself and to be a role model for deaf children. Receiving this scholarship would be a great honor for me and help me to pusure my interests in helping other deaf children to succeed as I have."
