Lions Working in the Community      ANNUAL PROJECTS AND EVENTS Lions Eyeglass and Hearing Aid Recycle Program - New drop off location: The Big Purple Mailbox located at the Bartlett Public Library Community hearing aid and eyecare assistance to those who cannot afford it. Lions Easter Egg Hunt - Children hunt for colored eggs filled with treats on the day before Easter at the Community Center Park Spring Pancake and Sausage Breakfast - held in conjunction with the Bartlett Police Open House Diabetes Day - Lions hit the streets to collect donations which are used for diabetes research. Memorial Day Walk - Lions join together to honor those who have served in the military Flag Day - Hundreds of US flags are distributed to 1st graders in the Bartlett Area Camp Lions - Lions Club sponsors hearing and sight impaired children to attend a special camp each summer. $1000 Scholarship - Lions provide a local resident with a scholarship paid to the college or trade school of choice. Annual Charity Golf Tournament - 100% proceeds are used for charitable means. Independence Day Parade - Lions team up with the 4th of July committee to host one of the best parades in the area. National Night Out - Lions team up with the Bartlett Police Department to 'Say No To Crime'! Candy Day - Lions distribute candy rolls and collect donations for charity all around town on the first Friday and Saturday of October. Fall Pancake Breakfast - 100% proceeds are used for charitable causes Pumpkin Sale - Lions take to the fields to sow their crop; 100% of sales go to charitable causes. Sight Night - Trick or Treat for Eyeglasses & The Sight Night Illuminated Halloween Parade. Campaign to collect used eyeglasses during Halloween events.
