Once again, this year’s Police Open House event will coincide with the Bartlett Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast. The breakfast will be held at the Bartlett Fire Barn, 218 Main Street, from 8 a.m. until noon. Please stop by for all-you-can eat pancakes, tasty sausage links, juice, and hot coffee. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 3 & older. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event will be used to help the Lion’s Club support sight and hearing related charitable causes.
The Bartlett Police Department is hosting its annual, free Open House event on Sunday, March 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This special police-community event has drawn as many as 800 visitors and proved to be very popular with people of all ages. It allows guests to see various police evidence and weapon displays, meet police K-9 Brewster, find out how suspects are fingerprinted, hang out with McGruff the Crime Dog, use the DUI Fatal Vision Goggles, and learn how to ride the Segway device. Guests will also be able to meet with police personnel, who will be readily available to answer questions and to address any concerns.
The Bartlett Lions Club is celebrating over 70 years of service and currently has over 65 men and women members. We are an active group in the Bartlett community. You've probably seen us out and about on Candy Day, at the Independence Day Parade, Golf Outing or maybe you've enjoyed attending one of our popular all-you-can-eat pancake breakfasts. We have a long tradition of supporting many social and public service programs throughout the community. If you're interested in learning more about the Bartlett Lions Club, please contact us (see bottom of this page), or if you're attending one of our activities, feel free to ask a member.
